This comprehensive, full week course is a hands-on class that covers all areas of Fieldbus instrumentation: design, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This course is designed for technicians, operators, and others who desire to be Fieldbus certified.

Course highlights include:
  • Fieldbus Introduction
  • Device planning and naming (tagging)
  • Differentiate between Fieldbus protocols
  • Be able to recognize Fieldbus systems as well as discern the roadblocks to implementing and the advantages of having them
  • Installation of Fieldbus segments
  • Proper wiring and cabling techniques
  • Device and Network configurations
  • Maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on lab
